The Impossible Hot

What would a real blog be without mentioning the current "It girl" Zooey Deschanel? I stumbled across this portrait of her and it's CRAZY HOT:

I guess I'm a sucker for nice boobs. That is all, carry on.

Another Life

I meant to talk about this a long time ago, but seeing how my blog died, I never got the chance. Lucky for me, my blog has been resurrected and it is now more appropriate to mention this Second Lives exhibit going on at the Museum of Art and Design in New York City. The exhibit is pretty self-explanatory so I won't say anymore. Some of the stuff looks lame, but here are two pieces I find pretty cool:

If you're in the area, you should go check it out. If you're in Philadelphia and plan to go, take me with you. The exhibit ends February 19th, 2009.

Oh what the hey... time for post #3

Click the link below so you'll understand why I posted this photo.

It's Friday and I have an hour to kill at work. Remember when I used to post a disco song each month? Remember how that died off really fast? Remember how my blog was dead and now I'm trying to resurrect my blog by posting tons and tons of entries? Ha, well I finally found a disco song that I can't stop listening to thanks to a mix by Mike Simonetti aka the dude from Troubleman Records/Italians Do It Better. It's called "Just Love What You're Doing" by Hot Chocolate and upon reading the post over again, I realize it's actually one of Mike Simonetti's favorite disco track of all time. Ha, go figure. I couldn't find the Youtube video so you'll just have to download the mix on the Italians Do It Better blog. The song starts around 38:13ish, but since the transition is so f*ing good, I suggest you tune in a few minutes earlier.
Hey, The Impossible Cool is my new favorite blog. It's minimal, pleasing to the eye, and pretty darn cool (duh). My only complaint is that there's not enough cool women on there. Oh well... Anyway, check out some of my fav portraits thus far:

No fair, rock stars always get the nicest boobs.

Speaking of nice boobs...

Uh, I had to do a double take! I never knew Michael Caine was a stone cold fox.

I'm ashamed to be raised in CA.

Please watch this video. It's very touching commentary on Prop. 8 by Keith Olbermann:

I'm obsessed with knitting!

If the earlier post about Yokoo wasn't a dead giveaway, I'm starting to obsess over crazy knits. Check this out:

From Sandra Backlund's current collection Last Breath Bruises

Ahh, all of her stuff is so amazing! I need to really get into the groove of knitting. Recently, I just figured out how to make cable knits. Yay me.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention...

YESSS! THANK GOODNESS FOR OUR 44TH U.S. PRESIDENT!!!

Betcha, McCain can't do one of these:

Guess what I just got in the mail?

Everyone and his/her mom are in love with Yokoo! Yay for kooky-big-over-the-top scarves! Check out Yokoo's Etsy shop.

This week, I feel like these socks.

I'm not a big fan of spreads with AA gear, but what the hey... I'm feelin' the socks on this lady.

stimulus

Yeah, yeah, my blog is dead. I realized it's too much work to sit down and write a thoughtful blog entry on a normal basis. Maybe just posting three pictures of things I find interesting per entry will stimulate my blog. It's pretty minimal, but this will just have to do for now.
